The round pacifier encourages a sucking technique and tongue placement similar to breastfeeding, since the round shape allows the sides of the tongue to surround the pacifier on either side.

The pacifier is equipped with a valve that lets air out when baby sucks on it. This allows air to come and go in during sucking, adjusting to baby's mouth.
